- BSR E1.22, Fire Safety Curtain Systems
The standard to be developed will cover the materials, fabrication, installation, operation, and maintenance of fire curtain systems used for proscenium opening protection and designed to restrict the passage of heat, hot gases, and smoke from the stage to the audience area.
- BSR E1. 6-4, Control Systems for Electric Chain Hoists
- BSR E1.6-3, Safe Use of Serial Manufactured Electric Chain Hoists in the Entertainment Industry
This is
part of the larger E1.6 project, which is to establish safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, and use of powered flying systems. These systems include those used for the movement or positioning of scenery, lighting, audio and other stage equipment in theaters, theme parks, studios, and other places of public assembly and performance. This project does not address manually powered or operated systems or equipment used in the construction of these spaces.
- BSR E1.6-2, Purpose Designed Serially Manufactured Electric Chain Hoists in the Entertainment Industry
This is
part of the larger E1.6 project, which is to establish safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, and use of powered flying systems. These systems include those used for the movement or positioning of scenery, lighting, audio and other stage equipment in theaters, theme parks, studios, and other places of public assembly and performance. This project does not address manually powered or operated systems or equipment used in the construction of these spaces.
- BSR E1.6-1, Powered Winch Hoist Systems
The project is to establish safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, and use of powered flying systems. These systems include those used for the movement or positioning of scenery, lighting, audio and other stage equipment in theaters, theme parks, studios, and other places of public assembly and performance. This project does not address manually powered or operated systems or equipment used in the construction of these spaces.
- BSR E1.4, Manual Counterweight Rigging Systems
This project is to develop a standard to describe the construction and proper installation of manually powered counterweight flying systems, used in theaters to raise and lower scenery, properties, lighting equipment, and similar loads over the stage. This standard will not apply to raising or lowering people, or to any motorized rigging systems.
