Nominations are Now Open for the 2009 Rock Our World Awards

Have you seen a new product that you knew would change the industry, or one that was so simple but so brilliant you couldn't imagine why it hadn't been done before? Have you seen a product used in a way that was truly remarkable in its application, whether simple or complex? Have you seen a project that knocked your socks off because of the level of collaboration required or the magic it created? Now is your chance to acknowledge their impact.

ESTA created the Rock Our World Awards to honor groundbreaking achievement by its members. Don’t wait until a quantum technology leap becomes a standard to celebrate it. This award was created to acknowledge the genius of both the creator of technology and the designer or integrator who applies the technology in a real world environment.

Manufacturers' Choice Dealer of the Year Awards

Who can enter?
Anyone in the industry may nominate a product, product application, or project, but an ESTA Member must be involved as the designer, manufacturer, supplier, or collaborator.

Eligibility period:
To be eligible, a product, product application, or project must have been produced or executed between October 1, 2007 and June 30, 2009. Items submitted for the 2008 awards may not be resubmitted.

Entry submission:
You may download the entry form, or submit your entry online. To support your nomination, you should submit back-up material which will enable you to expand on the merits of your entry. Support materials can include articles, press releases, photographs, video clips, product data sheets, etc. The deadline for entries is July 1, 2009.

How will entries be judged?
A panel of judges, consisting of well-known industry veterans and rising young stars will determine the finalists and the winners.

Finalist notification and promotion:
Finalists will be announced on September 1, 2009. Each finalists' name will appear in a press release, on the ESTA website, in a presentation at the ESTA Annual Dinner, and in the Fall issue of Protocol.

Announcement of winners:
Winners will be announced at the 2009 ESTA Annual Dinner which will take place at Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando on Thursday, November 19, 2009.
