Members' Choice Product Awards
These awards, voted on by all ESTA Members attending the LDI Show, recognize outstanding new entertainment technology products. Awards are bestowed in three categories:
- Expendable: product which costs less than $150 (retail value) and is designed to be replaced frequently and also includes lamps in all price ranges.
- Widget: product which costs under $150 (retail value) and is not designed to be replaced frequently
- Equipment: product which costs $150 or more (retail value)
For a product to be eligible, it must have been introduced to the market after the previous year's LDI show, and must be ready for shipment at the time of the current show.
You must be an exhibitor at the LDI show to nominate your product. Exhibitors decide which of their product or products will be candidates for the awards. There is a maximum of one entry per exhibitor in each of the three product categories. Please do not ask your dealers to nominate your product. Only one nomination is accepted and this must come directly from the manufacturer or exclusive distributor.
All entries were due by September 19, 2008. Entries received after that date will not be considered. Entries received on or before August 22, 2008 will be included in the Fall edition of Protocol.
Easel cards designating products as a candidate will be brought to your booth just before the LDI 2008 show opens. Simply display the nominated product with the easel card for Members to review as they visit your booth. It is very important that all booth personnel be aware of which product has been nominated.
