Business Education Committee
The Business Education Committee, or BizEd as it is commonly called, is one of ESTA's oldest committees and was formed as a direct result of the desire ESTA members voiced to use the power of collective knowledge to strengthen individual members' businesses. BizEd strives to create business related educational opportunities for ESTA's members. It does this in two distinct ways:

• Working as a catalyst within the industry to collect and distribute information designed to help all members grow their businesses. This is done through the creation and conducting of industry surveys and reports.
• Providing learning opportunities to members by sponsoring seminars and roundtables specifically geared to meeting the challenges of building the business of show business.

Vision:
Define and clarify business practices and provide educational and training opportunities to enable members to more effectively manage their businesses.

Mission:
To accomplish Vision through a series of surveys, seminars at trade shows, articles in Protocol, and via the Internet.

What We Expect of Volunteers:

• availability to meet at LDI, USITT and one additional meeting
• access to Email
• time commitment: approximately 1 hour per week
• participation on ad hoc committees
• assist with seminars as needed
